Mini Grom Comps are on, Saturday's Comp at Sandy Bay was a massive success with loads of fizzing Grommies all catching waves and having a blast, the next one in the series is at Waipu Cove on the 17th of December, see you there, Mike C.

Surf photography exhibit this evening 6.30 start at the N.Y.T Bank St, Whangarei, this is part of a fundraising effort for young grommie Manu Scott Arrieta's trip to Portugal to compete, gunna be a fun night, Mike C.

Saturday was the day for the Third Annual Loggerheads Comp at Waipu Cove, usually at Mangawhai but conditions dictated a change of venue, this longboarding event is a 'tip of the hat' to the traditional style of logging, pure, fun and no leggie!, put together by local surfing legend Tony Baker, more images soon, Mike C.
