mini grom comp

Mini Grom Comps are on, Saturday's Comp at Sandy Bay was a massive success with loads of fizzing Grommies all catching waves and having a blast, the next one in the series is at Waipu Cove on the 17th of December, see you there, Mike C.

The 2015 Mini Grom Comp on Saturday at Waipu Cove was epic, the kids just loved it, with knee to waist high waves and offshore winds the conditions were pretty much perfect for the grommets, well done to all involved, Mike C.

big weekend

Hi All, big weekend about to unfold with the Mini Grom Comp at Waipu Cove tomorrow and The Smorgasboard Expression Session at Ocean Beach and The Bream Bay Sliders Xmas Dress-Up at Waipu Cove both on Sunday, I am gunna try and get to all of them with updates on Monday, have a great weekend, Mike C.

The Cove Fish Fry is a gathering of positive and like-minded surfers and shapers sharing a day at the beach. The original format of the Fish Fry was based around the Fish surfboard but as the event has evolved and spread throughout the world it has become open to all forms of surfcraft, Fish, Logs, Hulls, Alaias, Handplanes, Mats, the list goes on. The Cove Fish Fry is a non-competitive and non-commercial event and will be held at Waipu Cove, Northland, NZ, save the date, March 2024 (date TBC) for the 9th Annual Cove Fish Fry, cheers Mike C.
