When you have a board you love and just want it to last forever you could consider getting a copy of it and even give it a modern tweak or two, Gaffa has had his 8'0'' Atlas Woods singlefin forever and it has been thru the wars but now it is time for it's semi-retirement, Gaffa has gone to his local shaper Roger Hall to discuss a potential replacement, two parties brought together through The Cove Fish Fry, nice work team, Mike C.

It was great to catch up with Thomas Bauer at this year's Fry with his beautiful Hollow Wooden Surfboards, hours of work with fantastic end results, well done mate, thanks for coming along again, see you next year, Mike C.

I was lucky enough to get a day off and take my eldest boy Max 9 to a school surfing day at Matapouri, he and his school mates had an absolute blast, teaching kids to surf is as good as learning yourself, such fun, shakas all round, Mike C.
