It was awesome to catch up with Maddy, Ben and their beautiful daughter Ella at The Cove over the weekend, Ben has made a few boards, this is his latest creation, a resintinted gloss polished Roundtail 2+1, Ben made the fins as well and has put a 'lighthouse' decal on it to represent some of his family connections, cool board and lovely family, Mike C.

Phil Jamieson's Paddleout yesterday at Waipu Cove was an amazing event, lots of peeling waves, sun, laughs and story telling, a perfect tribute to Phil, so stoked to be a part of the day, Mike C.

The Paddle Out for Phil Jamieson at Waipu Cove has been confirmed for the 26th of February 2017 at 10am, followed by a few drinks at The Waipu Pizza Barn, Mike C.

The Northland surf community, Bream Bay Sliders and friends of Phil Jam are planning a paddle out to honor his contribution to the NZ surfing community at Waipu Cove in February next year, date to be confirmed, he will be missed, love Mike C.

Mid-Winter Festival of Surfing 2016

The Bream Bay Sliders Mid-Winter Festival of Surfing at Waipu Cove yesterday was fantastic, fun was had by all even though the swell was very small, still with offshores and sunshine the event went off with a bang, well done to all involved, Mike C.
