foamie fun

What better on a hot Northland day than to get ya kids to the beach and into some waves, never been a big fan of foam boards, they don't have the same soul as a handcrafted surfcraft but they are a great introduction to catching waves, enjoy wave time with your friends and family, Mike C.

ride anything ethos

So nice to see the open mindedness of waveriders, with the East Coast of NZ busy with holiday makers and locals the types of wavecrafts were as varied as the riders themselves, Mike C.

death wish

Local surfer Doug Pearson took his circa 1960-65 Altas Woods out for a spin at Sandy Bay yesterday, a very challenging board to ride with a large Hatchet Fin, he nailed a number of waves but reckons to ride it you must have a bit of a 'Death Wish', he wants to really master the board, nice work mate, Mike C.
