Halfway through March already, time is flying, hope you are getting a few rollers, swell angle and the banks have been a bit average after TC Gabrielle but there is the odd peeler, enjoy, cheers Mike C.

foamie fun

What better on a hot Northland day than to get ya kids to the beach and into some waves, never been a big fan of foam boards, they don't have the same soul as a handcrafted surfcraft but they are a great introduction to catching waves, enjoy wave time with your friends and family, Mike C.

nothing better

Having your kids frothing on surfing is such a buzz, my three boys are all keen as, never pushed them into it and so it has taken a while for them to find the joy but now they are hooked, SO STOKED!, Mike C.

circa 1970 NZ

The classic Skellerup Foamie, we have all had a rash and lost a nipple or two from using one of these in our youth, an iconic slice of NZ history, you can pick these up for a few bucks at a garage sale, just make sure the kids wear a rashie, Mike C.
