A small but perfectly formed group took to the water at Waipu Cove yesterday, Bream Bay Sliders members celebrated Xmas with a fancy dress gathering, many laughs were had, Mike C.

This coming weekend is set to be a biggie, on Saturday the 35th Annual Polar Bear Surf Comp is on at Sandy Bay and on Sunday The BBS Annual Mid-Winter Festival of Surfing is on at Waipu Cove, two fantastic events, jam packed weekend of surfing fun, Mike C.

west and east

Small super clean conditions on the East Coast of Northland NZ, perfect for the bigger boards and learners, West Coast is pumping with spots like Shippies firing, get amongst it or go to work and keep the country running, Mike C.

There is still a lot of Seaweed/Algal Bloom left at Waipu Cove, locals have been cleaning it up but there is still plenty floating around in the surf, at least it is surfable now, just make sure you have a shower afterwards, it's a tad smelly, Mike C.

It was a stunning day at Waipu Cove yesterday for The Bream Bay Sliders 2015 Xmas Fancy Dress, loads of laughs and some radical costumes once again, so funny, well done team, so pleased to be a part of this bunch of nutters, Mike C.
