Ride to the Sand

The Free Way Project 'DEMO DAY' at Waipu Cove on Sunday was a great success, well done to Roger Hall and the Team from Surfline Custom Surfboards for putting on another great surfing event in Northland, Mike C.

Filming has started on the latest Motion Pacific surf movie project, Brendon Young, Trent Lillis and Roger Hall were out on the Bream Bay coastline with Tony Burrows capturing all the action, more info on this project soon, Mike C.

The Cove Fish Fry is a gathering of positive and like-minded surfers and shapers sharing a day at the beach. The original format of the Fish Fry was based around the Fish surfboard but as the event has evolved and spread throughout the world it has become open to all forms of surfcraft, Fish, Logs, Hulls, Alaias, Handplanes, Mats, the list goes on. The Cove Fish Fry is a non-competitive and non-commercial event and will be held at Waipu Cove, Northland, NZ, save the date, March 2024 (date TBC) for the 9th Annual Cove Fish Fry, cheers Mike C.
