take a break
Jamie Gallant has been a busy boy, working away on a new series of Handplanes under the brand 'Smoko' which is a tip of the hat to the traditional Kiwi break, vacuum bagged over a foam core these Handplanes are strong and extremely lite not to mention beautiful, adjustable straps and branded with an iron, very cool, Mike C.

pedro's pride
It was great to catch up with Pedro Jackson from Ngunguru at Sandy Bay yesterday and get the run down on his first ever wooden board build, a 9'1'' EPS core vacum bagged Singlefin Log, Pedro has worked closely with Justin Tilly from Opononi and has even had a silver deck plug made by local artist and jeweler Paul Harris, nice job mate, see you at The Cove Fish Fry on the 13th of March, Mike C.
