Loggerheads 4

Loggerheads, a traditional longboard contest was held on Saturday at Mangawhai Heads Beach, the fourth annual, a fantastic event, sadly I was not able to attend and get some fresh shots but here are a few from last year, well done TB and all involved, Mike C.

POLAR BEAR

The 35th Annual Polar Bear surf comp at Sandy Bay over the weekend as a huge success, well done to all involved both in and out of the water, it was great to catch up with all the local surf legends and their families, with great waves and good weather ya could not ask for more, Mike C.

The Cove Fish Fry is a gathering of positive and like-minded surfers and shapers sharing a day at the beach. The original format of the Fish Fry was based around the Fish surfboard but as the event has evolved and spread throughout the world it has become open to all forms of surfcraft, Fish, Logs, Hulls, Alaias, Handplanes, Mats, the list goes on. The Cove Fish Fry is a non-competitive and non-commercial event and will be held at Waipu Cove, Northland, NZ, save the date, March 2024 (date TBC) for the 9th Annual Cove Fish Fry, cheers Mike C.
