NO 2022 FRY

Hey all you Fish Fry folks, the 2022 Cove Fish Fry will not be going ahead because of Covid restrictions, hopefully we can gather together in 2023, I will still be updating this blog and TCFF Facebook page and I am hoping to celebrate the 2022 Fry online in some shape or form, Cheers Mike C.

Level 3

So good to be back in the water at Level 3 of the Covid19 Lockdown here in NZ, most people have been very respectful and sensible in and out of the water at the beaches around Northland, long may that last, see you out the back (at a safe distance of course), cheers Mike C.

Nearly there Folks

Level 3 means we can get back in the water, have a fun quick surf, be kind, stay safe, keep your distance and head home straight after your surf, let's maintain this level of freedom we have been given, see you there, YEW!, Mike C.

The Cove Fish Fry is a gathering of positive and like-minded surfers and shapers sharing a day at the beach. The original format of the Fish Fry was based around the Fish surfboard but as the event has evolved and spread throughout the world it has become open to all forms of surfcraft, Fish, Logs, Hulls, Alaias, Handplanes, Mats, the list goes on. The Cove Fish Fry is a non-competitive and non-commercial event and will be held at Waipu Cove, Northland, NZ, save the date, March 2024 (date TBC) for the 9th Annual Cove Fish Fry, cheers Mike C.
