This year's Annual Smorgasboard at Ocean Beach, Whangarei Heads, Northland, NZ was a blast, a real celebration of surfing and trying different surf equipment, thanks to the Ocean Beach Boardrider's Club and The Surf Emporium for the invite, I will post some more images ASAP, Mike C.

smorgasboard 2013

The 2013 Surf Emporium Smorgasboard event is set down for the 7th of December at Ocean Beach, Whangarei Heads, a gathering of surfers and surfboards from all walks of life, should be a great day, for more info call Sean at The Surf Emporium, Kamo, 09 4356198, Mike C.

The Cove Fish Fry is a gathering of positive and like-minded surfers and shapers sharing a day at the beach. The original format of the Fish Fry was based around the Fish surfboard but as the event has evolved and spread throughout the world it has become open to all forms of surfcraft, Fish, Logs, Hulls, Alaias, Handplanes, Mats, the list goes on. The Cove Fish Fry is a non-competitive and non-commercial event and will be held at Waipu Cove, Northland, NZ, save the date, March 2024 (date TBC) for the 9th Annual Cove Fish Fry, cheers Mike C.
